Steel Saint Sho set to Release Next Year?

Update: Figure Oh No.155 scan confirms that the Pre-Order will start on December 24. More details to come soon. ;)

After have made many appearances in toy events for the past 2 years, finally Steel Saint Sho will get some light of going for sale next year.

The recent Figure Oh issue (No. 155) reports that Steel Saint Sho is expected to release in April 2011 via Tamashii Webshouten, in which PO is likely to start by end of this month. Price tag is still not confirmed at this point.

Appendix Sagittarius confirmed for January 2011 release

The long-waited Appendix Sagittarius suddenly popped up on the net and this is no rumor. This item is already up on Toei Animation Shop for order (link), as well as on Tamashii Japan site (link).

APPENDIXシリーズに待望のサジタリアスアイオロス登場！！

頭部はアイオロス2種、星矢1種付属。背中の羽も胸像用と別売りの「聖闘士聖衣神話サジタリアスアイオロス」へ取り付け用の2種付属。

髪パーツの交換により、マスクを外した状態も再現可能。

Gold Saints Reissue and Mystery Product? (Update)

Besides those diorama bases released in China later, all Gold Saints reissue starting from this month (July) will come with 1 stamp (proof of purchase). You can redeem mystery product with 2 stamps.

So far, the mystery product hasn’t been revealed yet. But there is a shadow picture of Grand Pope. Could it be Grand Pope campaign figure released in 2006? or another new Grand Pope?

From two pictures above, this campaign seems to be available only in China (with red strip) and Taiwan (with blue strip).Whether this campaign will be available in all regions (Japan, HK, Taiwan and China) still remains unknown.

5 Early Bronze will Complete by End of 2010

After reading through the Gold Cloth Sagittarius (Galaxy Wars ver.) campaign page, I have a feeling that they will try to push the release of the remaining early bronze by end of the year.

Now I will tell you how I come into such conclusion.

First, the campaign of the “Fake Sagittarius” will end on December 20, 2010. Good News, indeed. But why would the campaign last so long?

Second, the page actually tells you that you need serial number of “each of the following items” to qualify for 1,000 yen discount, which are Pegasus Seiya Early Bronze (June 2010) and Andromeda Shun (August 2010). This kinda suggests that you need all 5 early bronze to actually qualify for the discount.

With Cygnus Hyoga Early Bronze being announced recently for October release, that leaves out the remaining two early bronze (Shiryu and Ikki) to come by end of the year before the campaign for Fake Sagittairus ends.

So, there you have it – Dragon Shiryu Early Bronze in November and Phoenix Ikki Early Bronze in December.

I’m definitely against this idea of pushing the release, because you’ll probably get crappy figures due to tight deadline and we all know that none of the face sculpts of the first three early bronze can really make it up to standard.

Believe it or not? O well, It’s just my two sense only. Cheers. ;)

Tamashii Festival 2010 and Phoenix Ikki OCE

Tamashii Festival 2010 (a brand new Tamashii event) will come to its usual venue at UDX2F Akiba Square this August 7-8, 2010.

Phoenix Ikki Final Cloth OCE will join the exclusive line-up for this event, coming at 4,500 price tag.
