Good news for those who missed him~!

The event started with power-point presentation, then followed by prototype showcase in the next room.

1. Power-Point Presentation

The first part of the presentation talked about the overall sales statistic and how Saint Cloth Myth line has been doing in the past 8 years. Then, it was followed by the presentation of the upcoming products for August – September 2011.

The very last part of the presentation explained Bandai’s future plan for Saint Cloth Myth line, as quoted from the presentation slide:

1. Saint Cloth Myth EX: Launch as main brand, every 2 months.
2. Saint Cloth Crown: Launch as High-end model, 1 or 2 in every year.
3. Saint Cloth Myth: Launch for complement characters, every quarter.

The decision of launching the two new lines was made based on the market demand/request to have Gold Saints Renewal (#1 in survey) and higher-end line (#4 in survey).

There was no official words in the presentation about the Saint Cloth Myth Appendix line, which was said to have stopped with immediate effect, as per Figure Oh report.

This should answer most of our doubt about the future of this line.

2. Prototype Showcase

After the power point presentation, all guests were directed to the next room to have a look at the prototype figures of those released in August-September 2011, which also included 12 Gold Saints of Saint Cloth Myth EX, as well as, the Saint Cloth Crown Sagittarius Seiya.

I managed to take some pictures, but unfortunately I cannot post them for the time being. But I will try my best to give you overall description of the prototype figures.

Saint Cloth Myth EX – the 12 Gold Saints

Unfortunately, no one was allowed to touch the prototype. So, I could only take a guess whether the parts are diecast or metal. And the EX figure was very hard to tell from the prototype.

That’s as much I could say from my own judgment, given limited time to explore so many figures and to talk to so many people.

[LIKE] Gemini Saga’s face looked much better in prototype. The face sculpt might have been improved, as compared to kiddy face like what we saw on the official product picture.
[LIKE] Cancer Deathmask had major redesign on the shoulder pad. They looked more spiky, sharper and much bigger.
[LIKE] Sagittarius Aiolos’s wings looked awesome. They were replicated from the design of the recently-released Appendix.
[DISLIKE] Armor color looked much yellowish gold. Didn’t spot the two-tone of gold color like what we saw on the official product picture. But, don’t get discouraged as they were just prototypes.
[DISLIKE] Some detail from old Gold armor design were mising on the EX Armor design
[DISLIKE] Libra Dohko didn’t look as bulky as the old one. Shoulder pads were much smaller
[DISLIKE] Capricorn Shura had missing little horn on the two shoulder pads.

Saint Cloth Crown – Sagittarius Seiya

Nothing much to comment on this one, because it did not look any different from what we saw before. The figure looked quite impressive. Shoulder pads were diecast. Very well done.

I guess that’s all for now, until I can recall stuffs that I missed in this post.

Apparently this item has been a little rare in certain part of the world. If you haven’t ordered yours, just hold it.

Anyway, no new items for August 2011 apparently. Sit tight and relax for now.

EDIT:
I know there has been rumor about reissue of Appendix Leo Aioria coming soon. First, it was said to be July reissue, then fell back to August 2011.

There were also online sellers (NOT Online Stores!!!) who have been offering Pre-Order and even taking deposit for securing a slot. Please beware and be advised that there is no official words from Bandai so far~!

Just a little advice for anyone out there: DO NOT ever place an order if there is no official announcement from Bandai~! Let alone throwing your money in for deposit~!

If you’re wondering whether the figure will come with the appendix face sculpt, the answer is NO.

You must purchase the Appendix separately.
